Rucks of Fun - Musical Merriment
'Composed' by Cheryl Booth
Rucks of Fun - musical merriment for 0-4 years. Unique, music and movement classes to encourage musicality and creativity, enabling children to 'sparkle' with confidence.
Hi! My name is Cheryl Booth (I am usually known as Chez). I am married to Mike and we have a daughter Rebekah just starting University and a son Joshua in Year 8.
I am a qualified teacher with 30 years' experience, having taught children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One and Key Stage Two as well as lecturing to early years students at Liverpool Hope University College. I have enjoyed all aspects of my teaching career such as co-ordinating school productions, coaching gymnastics, leading outdoor educational trips and currently I am a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) in a local primary school.
My most enjoyable experiences have been teaching music, singing and being creative with the younger children. So I've decided to use my expertise, experience and enthusiasm more in this area of teaching and design my own classes that encompass musicality and creativity and so...
'Rucks of Fun' has become a reality!
My aim as an educator has always been to provide opportunities for children to succeed and 'sparkle' and ultimately learn and achieve their potential. Rucks of Fun aims through music and movement to develop musicality and build confidence in a fun, creative and exciting atmosphere.
I have always had a passion for music and singing and I enjoy playing the flute, piccolo and guitar. I regularly play my flute and sing with my musician friends sharing music, laughter and friendship in the Weaverham Community. When I have time, I enjoy crafting and scrapbooking and I am a keen reader. I also enjoy spending time together as a family at our caravan in Wales and going to the theatre.
Yours Cheryl X
